Fans traveling to AFCON Morocco 2025 will now be able to obtain free electronic visas, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced. The policy applies to citizens of countries that normally require a visa to enter Morocco.
In a statement released on Friday, CAF said:
“Electronic visas to enter Morocco — obtained through the YALLA app — are now free of charge for supporters attending the competition, which runs from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.”
The move comes as global interest in Africa’s biggest football tournament continues to grow, with more fans booking tickets. CAF emphasized that a Fan ID will still be required to access all stadiums and official fan zones.
Fans can apply for both the Fan ID and e-visa in one place through the YALLA app, streamlining the travel and stadium entry process. The app, available on Google Play, the App Store, or via the YALLA website, allows fans to complete their applications quickly, securely, and efficiently. Once approved, supporters can purchase match tickets through the CAF ticketing platform.
CAF highlighted that these new measures aim to provide a seamless and secure fan experience at Africa’s premier football event, which will be played across nine stadiums in six Moroccan cities.
The football body also shared ticket sales updates, revealing that 298,000 tickets have already been sold during the first two phases, with fans from 33 African countries and 106 countries worldwide purchasing passes.
AFCON Morocco 2025 kicks off on 21 December 2025 and runs until 18 January 2026, promising a thrilling spectacle for football fans across the continent and around the globe.
