The reason why Nigerian Vice President Osinbajo was hospitalized has been revealed. The recent development was disclosed by Laolu Akande on his verified Twitter page.

Sharing his tweet, Laolu said that VP Osinbajo was hospitalized today for a surgical procedure on account of recurrent pain in his leg. 

 

He explained the pains Osinbajo is suffering from might be as a result of an injury he sustained while playing squash. Laolu also stated that the VP's doctor would give an update regarding the treatment later today. 

 

He wrote: VP Osinbajo is in the hospital today for a surgical procedure on account of a recurrent pain in the leg possibly sustained from an injury while playing squash. His doctors would give an update of the treatment later today.
